Coleen Rooney launches McDonald's Football Mum of the Year campaign

Coleen Rooney has teamed up with McDonald's to launch the brand's 2017 Football Mum of the Year Award campaign, which aims to celebrate 'the critical role mums play in keeping the grassroots game going', and is calling for people across the UK to nominate a 'deserving football mum'.

Rooney has been an ambassador for the campaign since its inception in 2015, and commented 'It’s brilliant to be a part of this amazing campaign for the third year running.... I have so much respect for these mums who are taking their involvement in football to another level, all to help the game'. Nominations close on April 30, and the winner will be crowned at a special ceremony at Wembley Stadium, August 6.
